Storytelling In Education
Workshops and Assemblies with storyteller, Kim Weitkamp April 23-24, 2012
This year the Festival, along with the Smoky Hill Educational Service Center, is sponsoring two days of clinics with storyteller, Kim Weitkamp. Kim will be teaching not only classroom techniques using storytelling to enhance learning, but also the basics in storytelling for both children and educators. Half-day sessions will be filled with opportunities to improve one's understanding of storytelling, lesson plans to implement learning, and techniques for teaching a variety of learning styles.
